Copy of A note of some coats and crests lately come to my hands given by William Dethick when he was York herald ..., ca. 1600 [manuscript], ca. 1700.

A fair copy. The majority of the coats of arms are in Ralph Brooke's copy of those granted by William Dethick (Folger MS V.a.156) and were drawn up during Brooke's dispute with Dethick as to the validity of Dethick's grants, ca. 1600. On p. 28 is the grant to Shakespeare the player. Includes some annotations by Peter Le Neve.

[2], 30 p. : coats of arms.
